#37Ron, what is the EXACT error message you were getting? I have a new one now. Says... "Please reduce your stake and try again." I get this message when I try wagers UNDER 1 bitcoin! Sometimes when placing fractions of a bitcoin simply to experiment. It's clear they have my account on a manual approval at this point. I have done absolutely nothing wrong except go on a decent run of late. I've only had my account for about a month. Disgusting from a book that says "high limits, high rollers. 100's of btc per bet" on their HOME PAGE. SBR, still no update?Comment -

#39Today I am getting a message to reduce stakes on every single play no matter the size is. WTF cloudbet? This is so uncool.Comment -

#42Below are two screenshots, the first showing my 0.5 bitcoin wager declined to "reduce stakes" and the second showing the market max on the EXACT same wager of 4.41 bitcoins.

Cloudbet gives me the same generic response every single time. This was my last response from them....
Limits can vary quite a lot based on the competition, market or time in an event so although we do often have high limits you will need to reduce your stake further in this case.

#43Cloudbet customer service has been awful on every level. Both on addressing the actual issue, and response time. You would THINK an issue that has gone on since Thanksgiving would be fixed by now. Or AT LEAST they would be honest and upfront about limiting certain accounts if it's not an actual technical issue. Instead I get the same bogus response from customer service talking to me like I need a tutorial on how to place wagers.
SBR reached out to me and the last time I heard from them was December 7th, 10 days ago. I have sent multiple follow up messages with no response and they have yet to respond to this thread. Frustrated to say the least.
Anyone considering depositing into cloudbet should strongly consider otherwise.Comment -

#45Can you guys at least share the ball park of the amount you took them for? 20 BTC? 40? Over 50? It'd help the rest of us sharps enormously in how we approach this careful bookmaker that doesn't like to lose.Comment -

What is happening here is either a bug that Cloudbet hasn't been able to identify the cause of, or some form of risk management or counter-sharp defense on their part in subjecting only select accounts to this inconvenience. Either way, not sure it's worth dealing with unless you think the quality of their product cancels out the annoyance?Comment -

#48We were told it was being looked into, but it read like a canned response. Cloudbet players have reported on poor customer service in the past, which you can read about on their news history page: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/cloudbet/

But if they have no interest in actually fixing the problem or at least being honest about the problem, then I have no issue pulling my funds out and writing about my experiences on every gambling forum out there.Comment -

#51I waited over 24 hours on one last week. But I have also had some processed instantly so it's really a complete crapshoot.
Did you have issues with your live wagers tonight? I had a 0% success rate (about 50 attempts) on wagers over 1 bitcoin and about a 10% success rate on wagers under 1 bitcoin.Comment -

And the worst part of it by far is their customer service. If I was simply given an honest response about it, then I would at least respect them for it. Instead, I get the complete run around with bogus technical reasons my wagers aren't accepted. (as if my 0.5 bitcoin attempts are over their limits when I clearly show a market limit of 4 bitcoins) And that's when they even respond at all, which sometimes takes 3-4 days to get the most generic of responses.
People give Tony of 5d sh it but at least he is honest about why he limits people. He says point blank "you've won enough" and he sure as hell wouldn't limit someone after a decent 1 month run.Comment -

#55I've finally had contact with a manager at cloudbet who sent me a message yesterday with the following...
"Your limits have been reduced while we investigate your account. We will contact you again once this has been resolved. Your limits will be restored soon.
Thanks for your patience and understanding."Comment -

#56Very, very interested to see what they are "investigating." They have been "investigating" for 2 weeks now because I've gotten the same reduce limits message for weeks. (and that was after various other messages on my declined bets)
By the sounds of it, they investigate anyone who doesn't simply donate them money on a nightly basis. I have done absolutely NOTHING wrong except go on a decent one month run. But will await his response.Last edited by rangerz2478; 12-19-15, 02:39 PM.Comment -

#59Its only live betting. I am sure theyre trying to be an exchange in that area and it doesnt always work out.
I have no problems getting decent sized bets down on regular plays.
I was having problems last spring with getting over night lines in NCAA hoops. I would check from my phone off wifi and see the lines but logged in or through my IP they werent there. I complained, they gave a bullshit excuse but it was fixed. (reduced limits until close to post).
I move money in and out every day with no issues, but I have been there for over a year now so that might make a difference.
I also dont dick around with live lines because no matter what book you do it with you get screwed around and they can free roll you on any of them especially if confirmation or denial is habitually time consuming.Comment -

#62High Limits for High Rollers
Bet hundreds of BTC
We take the largest bets of any online sportsbook – stakes of up to 200 BTC on the NBA, NHL, and European soccer - and you can bet as many times as you like without delay!
They advertise the above on their home page and I can't even get ONE bitcoin wagers on certain sports. Too damn funny.

#63Ron, have your limits been restored?
I was told my limits would be once the new system was in effect. They clearly switched their live betting system and I am STILL limited. Curious if yours have changed.Comment -

#64No, my live limits have not changed. My pre-live limits on some things were reduced. Also, the options on the nba games have changed and it's not as good. Cloudbet has very little use for me now.Comment -
