Bovada Live Betting Glitch

THIS IS NOT OKAY. Bovada needs to fix this. If a player wants to make a bet on one line, it does not mean they want the same bet at a completely different line. They should be prompted to re-confirm.

Has anyone else noticed this glitch?

It would be great if SBR would contact them about this.

Could you gather a bit more evidence, like screen shots placing a bet at -3 and then the confirmation page where it shows that you are now holding -4?

I don't doubt your claim as Bovada is known for this, I would just like to see it documented. As Opti said, this would be a pretty big deal and may not actually be a glitch.

We spoke with Bovada. What the player has described is definitely not expected. If the line changes the player is supposed to be prompted to accept the wager with the revised line. They've escalated the report to the techs for further review.

They've also asked the player to provide the wagering ticket number/his account so they can look into this.

problem with bovada live betting (screen shots included)

First off I want to say I've been with Bovada for over 10 years, and I know I new to this site and it seems there is some skepticism for newer users. This is not a huge deal because either way it should be a win (we hope) BUT that does not change the fact there is a glitch that needs to be addressed. Let me know if anyone else has had any issues. When I placed the wager I was under the impression I was placing the Over 17.5 games in the Andy Murray match this morning. Now when I placed it this came up:

So naturally I was pissed cause I purposely waited until it went down to 17.5.....but then when I checked my Open bets there is this...

Same wager #.Obviously this all going to work out fine in this case, but if this were football and the line changed 7 points against your favor it could make or break a wager....Just want to bring it to light.

The two images are not loading. This sounds similar to an issue described in a separate Bovada in-play issue thread, which management was having the techs look into. We will let them know of this second report, but if you can email the photos as an attachment to mail@sportsbookreview.com, that would be helpful.

Same ref number, interesting.

So, when you placed the original bet it was O17.5 games, then when you reviewed the bet it had been changed to O18.5 games?

We provided the screen shots to Bovada management to hopefully help reproduce the issue.

That is correct, it went 3 sets so it was a winner anyway. I just wanted to make others aware of the issue...

Thanks for capturing it, its a big deal whether you won or lost. Curious to hear the explanation. This is different then dealing dual lines
