2015-01-19 : I registered an account at sportingbet.
2015-09-12 : After i made my first deposit, they asked for identity documentation on the same day. I sent them my passport copy and they accepted it and verified my account. I made 3 deposits via Neteller without any problem. i made at least 10 bets without any problem.
2015-10-05 : I tried to make my first withdrawal but sportingbet closed my account. They claim that they found one another account on my name from 2010 that was closed, and now they closed my new account too and hold back my winnings. (They want to pay back only my deposited amount.)
Five years ago , in 2010, I have at least 60 accounts at different sports bookmakers , I do not keep in mind all of them at this distance of time.
So
- sportingbet allowed me to register my account
- sportingbet verified my account
- sportingbet allowed me to deposit (and lose my money)
- sportingbet allowed me to place bets
- sportingbet refuse to pay out my winnings
I am sure that if my balance would be lower than my deposit amount then sportingbet would not payout anything. So I can only lose (the deposit amount) and sportingbet can only win.
I suppose that this is a common behavior at all bookmakers , that they know that they will refuse payout for some new users, but they let them place bets because there is a chance that the customer will lose all its funds (and keep depositing, like me, 3 times), so it is free money for every bookmaker. So they do this on purpose.
So this is not my responsibility that I do not keep in mind that sportingbet closed my account 5 years ago.
Sportingbet should take the responsibility .
- sportingbet should not have allowed me to register my account
- sportingbet should not have verified my account
- sportingbet should not have allowed me to deposit
- sportingbet should not have allowed me to place bets
Is it legal/possible that a bookmaker can ban somebody from its service for life?
Is there any term of limitation (of the ban)?
Could it happen that you can get a perpetual ban at a bookmaker but a murderer have to go to jail only 5 years? Should i contact to mga or any other organization ?
I have already sent this conplaint to sbr 9 days ago. (and another 2 emails that wheather they got my complaint, but did not get any answer, so i had to register and post here this issue)
