I do them online, no questions asked. Funds hit my Matchbook account in 2-3 business days. $30 fee that Matchbook fully refunds in the form of commission credits.

I was wondering if Matchy ever offered withdrawals by bank wire. I know its not listed just wondering if it was ever an option.

Canada. You might wanna ask your bank if there's any way for you to add the ability to do wire transfers online. My bank only offers it to business accounts, but since my personal account is linked to my company's, I can send online wires in my personal name.

Usually around 4 business days for me. Matchbook refunds the cost of the wire as commission credits. Do it all online and it's easy as shit. (I'm in the US).

Mine is a personal account, but if you want to open a business bank account usually you can use your SSN as your taxpayer ID.

Any U.S. bank that doesn't allow outgoing wire transfers to be done online is garbage.

I live in the US and I used a well-known bank which offered free wires with their free personal checking accounts. In a branch, they had me fill out a form that included a dozen questions with yes/no check boxes to confirm that I wasn't falling for a scam but they didn't ask me specifically what the money is for.

I wish that I could find a bank that processes wires online for personal accounts. A few other national banks that I checked out require wires to be done in person for personal accounts. I am not sure why but maybe fraud has something to do with it. If someone breaks into your account online, they can wipe it out with a wire, which can't be reversed like a credit card transaction.

My brokerage account allows online wires but only to accounts that have the same name. They require a notarized letter if I want to wire to an account that doesn't bear my name.

If you have to worry about what your bank thinks of you sending a wire to MB, then get a new bank.
