Thanks for heads up. Only do business with one on only one device and don't mix.

I would bet this is illegal.

You'd probably lose. Not because you are incorrect but because Iovation is now so big and lawyered up to defend their business model no one will ever get to test it properly whilst they insist they only focus on fraud detection.

If they ever get caught out selling data for advertising or releasing browsing histories or other 'private' stuff, even to law enforcement, then they might find powerful enough forces interested in testing them.

It is just a script. I block the script unless I am doing banking which is what the sportsbooks require it for.

                  Thank you for this Hareeba!

I had quite a bit on my machine but followed the article and got it all cleaned up. I hope SBR is not running this way or else I need to hang the forum/offshore up completely.

Since I have stopped this (for now) is there any chance of having it infect my machine again? Or do you recommend steps to keep it at bay? IOW if I login to offshore books am I at risk for this kind of spyware everytime? Again thank you very much.

Have you read the sportsbook's full TOS? I bet you agreed to it.

Yeah it's been around for awhile. And it's not just bookmakers, casinos, and poker sites use it. Pretty much anywhere you gamble online there's a chance the website uses iesnare.

There really aren't any coincidences.....it all makes sense now. Individuals are privy to this information which is the worst part. If it's what I understand correctly you just pay for the information on the person. Too easy if I lived in Costa Rica right chili?

I've heard that there's another one of these things being used by some bookmakers.

Anyone know about Threatmetrix and how to get rid of it?
