£3400 PENDING by PaddyPower (6 weeks)
    Hi all,

So I placed some tennis bets with PaddyPower about 6 weeks ago, these guys always saying that the bet is under investigation although its WON.

I have contacted them and contacted their Supervisor on multiple occasions. They basically keep saying it's under investigation, giving no time-frame not settling bets or giving any information regarding why they think there was an issue as well as how I'm in any way involved. They are withholding my £2000 deposited plus an extra £1400 in winnings.

I'm not sure what I can do here, I have been trying to get the issue resolved with no luck. Contacted their Live chat and phoned over 10+ times...

What can I do in this instance as this is just non-sense, from my understanding that if someone takes a bet they also take the risk, if I won, I should receive and have my bets settled and not wait 6 weeks +, if I would have lost they would have taken my money instantly without letting me hold on to it for 6 weeks+.

Hope someone could enlighten me on this situation please, thank you.

    Kind regards
    Serge

And that's the risk you take if you bet on dodgy matches.

If the match is under investigation for being fixed (and there are quite a few), nothing will be settled until the investigation is completed.
If it is found to have been fixed your bets will be voided. If it's all clear I'm sure PP will pay up. But it could be several months away yet.

This happened when you tried to withdraw?

Seems something wrong with your verification.

What about when we lose money on fix matches?

Bookies still count the bet, makes me sick.

So if its found that the match was fixed will losers be refunded months later? Doubtful. Avoiding Paddypower for life now.

            Right!
So of course it would be very different at B365, WmHill or Ladbrokes eh?

There have been a few cases like this with the big UK books posted recently.

It sucks for all involved and the UK rules that say they can or must tell you nothing aren't working properly IMHO.

You are welcome to submit a complaint to SBR and we can try to help http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/

Their Isle of Man regulator will also look at the matter if it appears Paddypower are not addressing your dispute properly http://www.gov.im/gambling/players.xml

Truth is though that under UK gambling laws you are likely to be stuck not knowing anything for 'as long as it takes' :\
