Seems strange to me that they've turned customers away like this. Why not just charge UK customers more somehow? Reduce the odds or spike the withdrawal fee... For instance, Matchbook raised the commission for UK customers. Simple fix.

Not enough interest from UK which is a surprise.
Lot of competition in these markets...most of the people here are too stupid to consider pinny.
Lotta are skeptic about offshore..puts them off.

What are you talking about? Pinnacle are industry leaders/ highly reputable. Lots sportsbooks & poker sites are off-shore but that doesn't deter bettors. Pokerstars are off-shore and yet they have a stranglehold on the poker industry.

That seems a funny way of putting it. The question I'm asking is why not? It's free aint it? What do they have to lose? The main deterrent is the point of consumption tax, but if they have the UK customers cover that (as I suggested above) then what's the problem?

I'm guessing they don't want to cave to the demands of the UK gambling commission/ set a bad precedence, but maybe I'm missing something.

Pokerstars has a UKGC licence so isn't in that sense 'offshore' to UK customers.

Yeah. Pinnacle are capable of getting the licence, so it's a moot point really.
