I made a parlay wager
on Sunday morning. The teams then played on Sunday...then halfway through the game tonight (about when CSF tied the game)...the bet was declined. They say the line was bad and they can cancel at any time...but after a game is played and halfway through another game where they might lose they decline the bet?? Did they cancel all the bets for both teams? Could they do this for any game?? This is a A+ book for SBR and that is why I use them...but this is not an A+ book decision. This was actually the second bet I had cancelled this weekend..the other happened before the game which I an understand. I am not looking for bad lines...just bet what is open. This seems to be a trap! Get betters to bet and then cancel if they might win. They never sent me an email..only the message upon logging into my account. I asked for my chat log and it never arrived. I will add it if I get it. If it was a bad line and they let it stay out there for 2 days and only decline after it wins...that seems very shady.

#2As you can tell from the post time...I bet BEFORE the second game started and the bet was cancelled around the time CSF tied the game in Game 3 on Monday night DURING the game. If CSF had won the second game...would I have won this bet???Last edited by Memento; 06-09-15, 12:13 AM.Comment -

#6Did they tell you the +420 was a bad price or was something else wrong with the bet? They do have the right under their terms to cancel at any time the error is found. But you would normally expect they would adjust to the correct odds rather than cancel if it is after the game started.
Am I right in thinking the parlay would have lost totally if they had not cancelled the CSF leg?
If so what are you wanting them to do? Take the winnings they paid you back?.Comment -

#7No...the parlay would have won if CSF would have won the second game. I would expect them to pay the correct odds on CSF winning the series since that is that is what I bet...and that they cancelled not only after the second game registered, but after 6 innings of the third game.
They did not tell me anything until after 9:00 PM of Game 3.....six inning or more into the last leg of the parlay.Last edited by Memento; 06-09-15, 12:43 AM.Comment -

Without knowing exactly why they cancelled (could have been a technical issue with the bet listing in which case they won't re-instate it) I think thats your best option..Comment -

#11What was the line supposed to be? a lot of times it's obvious that's it a bad line and thus I've actually not bet some things because I know the sportsbook has messed up and will cancel it eventually.
Sometimes I notify live help so I can bet what I want without it being canceled. They have to protect themselves from being hammered due to someone entering incorrect odds (and given the absurd options and props they offer it's easy to see how a mistake is possible here and there).
As to your question, if the bet was lost in game 2 I'm not sure what would have happened, I'd like to think that they would have canceled the CSF portion still and paid you manually for the Vanderbilt bet.Comment -

#12"All selections of CS Fullerton advances to CWS with prices between +385 and +420 will reflect a grade of "no action". This offering was a clear line error. The price was intended for the Texas A&M to advance. The correct line for this selection is -175. All other selections in the parlay(s) will have action."

#14Geez Memento. You won't keep your accounts at many books if you take shots at big errors like that too often.

#16This is why sportsbooks treat people so crappy. You got a guy complaining about an OBVIOUS line error. CS Fullerton won Game 1 and he thinks +420 to advance is the right number?!Comment -

#18just unbelievable - then 5dimes has to waste their time to come here and explain. no wonder why accounts get closed. the stupidity of people equals the frustration of honest books. and we all pay the price, in the rules and regulations.
