Added Reply by SBR: According to 10Bet you were credited with your winnings and given a response from 10Bet management on April 9.
Hi,
I thought I would let the world know about 10bet and how they currently have scammed me out of around $625 in total. SBR has been briefed about all the information in this unbelievable and shocking story. Hopefully they can sort things out, obviously I can not.
Background:
I was looking for a trustworthy bookmaker at this very site and after some research thought that 10bet looked like a solid choice. I like to bet on golf at times and their offer looked good to me. Overall rating etc did not strike me as questionable either.
The case:
LPGA Ana Inspiration is the Women's Tournament in question. It was held April 2nd - April 5th . I made several bets in-running, in total I had 11 tickets on the eventual winner Brittany Lincicome , almost all of them very small stakes. I also had a long list of losing bets on other competitors. So far so good, I managed to come out with a profit, or so I thought........
The Payout
Around 15 hours after the tournament was won in a play-off, the bets were finally settled. But it didn't add up to me with the payout, so I started to check the tickets. To my astonishment this is what was found, from the 11 supposed to be winning tickets
5 tickets were paid as per normal.
4 tickets were paid as a 'Dead Heat rule apply' and credited with a fraction of the money I should have received (even less than an actual Dead-Heat rule apply would have been) .
2 tickets were saying that my selection was the winning one but the stake was taken by 10bet and despite the fact that the tickets said it was winners, it was settled as losers.
WHAT!?!?!!?
The aftermath
I contacted 10Bet and asked what was wrong and told them please to settle all my bets correctly. After a short while, one of the persons from their support team tells me he has been in contact with a trader who says everything was settled normally.
I respond again with Printscreen shots of all the bets, explained what has went wrong and that their own golf rules naturally supports my case.
10Bet Outright Golf rules are : All outright bets are settled on the player winning the trophy. The results of play-offs is taken into account.
Crystal clear, isn't it?
Not for 10bet, who then promises to go the bottom with this and handle it within the next few hours with a senior sportsbook trader.
We are now almost 72 hours after that 'mail of promise' and despite me writing three more mails asking for an update and asking them just to manually credit my account , I have not received any more mails from them. Having said that, I have never been waiting more than 10 minutes before to receive a reply from them..........
The Conclusion:
The same winning bet has been settled in three different ways by 10bet. One version is full payout (as it should be) . Another version is just to settle the bet as a loser. The third version is to credit me with a fraction of the stake on the bet for the winning outcome. Obviously it is a software issue here or/and someone working in the traders dept who just is not fit for duty.
Whatever the issue might be, it is clear to me from the tickets, that the 'problem' occured around 90 minutes before the competition was finished. It is in this span where the affected tickets are. I have naturally told them so, so that they perhaps can sort things up with the software so this does not happen again to anyone.
And yes, the bizarre 'Dead heat rules apply' and 'Not paying winning tickets at all' were mostly made during the play-off itself . Wouldn't it be funny if you bet with a bookmaker during an in-running golf tournament, at the playoff, and even if you win, you will 'win' back 20-30% of your bet size? This is what happened to me, folks.....
I have got all the evidence needed in this case. It's not even a case really. But somehow 10bet refuses to pay me out and now do not even respond to me.
I will let you guys be the judge on if you should consider 10bet your next bookmaker of choice.
