sportsbook.ag, currently up 15k and trying to withdraw
So far been told max withdrawal is 2,500 and it'll take 3 to 5 weeks to receive. 1 withdraw at a time, so it'll take me over 6 months to receive what I'm up now. I'm afraid to get up any more with the site in case they don't pay out and of course don't want to lose what I'm up.

Any suggestions or people with past history with the site?

And could you recommend a site or 2 I should use going forward?

Thanks, I've lost more than 15k on storybook.ag in the past so I figured I'd receive my winnings sooner

Maybe you can ask if they will do a book to book transfer with part of it? (just make sure you know what the rollover is going to be at the other book)

See the November posters poll toward top of this page for some suggestions.

What other books would you recommend? I like betting sports and blackjack. And of course a book that can pay out larger amounts. From what I read so far on this site I see sbobet, bookmaker and pinnacle. Just need exact website not sure if it's .com , .eu , .ag etc....

When you talk about rollover, you're saying that if 10k is transferred over I may have to bet x amount prior to be allowed to withdraw.

Thanks for the help. I'm nervous approaching the site about a transfer. I'm thinking they would think there losing a customer and maybe give me a harder time collecting....

It doesn't matter anyway if what Rangerz2478 says is correct. But for future, book to book transfers are quite normal and as far as I am aware do not upset the book operators. And there is usually at least a 1x rollover required at the receiving book. (sometimes more)

From what I read they can be slow but do pay.

Good to hear. I noticed they have been around a long time so figured they were fine. I'll wait till i receive the first withdrawal in hand, make the next withdrawal for normal amount while asking for a higher amount. Then if they won't allow for higher amount, i'll ask about the possibility of transferring to a book that allows a larger payout.
                - what can someone do if a book doesnt payout?

                Thanks again

First time on this site or on any sportsbook forum type of site....i'll be sure to check around the other posts and frequent the site. Appreciate the help

just was told no wires at the moment and seems like they wont anytime soon. And they also said No to doing any transfers to other books that could do a larger withdrawal. So only option is the $2500 check withdrawal, hopefully it comes faster than 3-5 weeks....the account is at 20k right now, so looks like i will be using sportsbook.ag for a long time....

They are not going to do anything that will make it easy for you to get your money. They will hold onto it as long as possible.

That is what they want. What is the point of getting your balance even higher?

You should be paid but it will just take some time

They have benefited from a great URL and have taken in tons of a cash. Ask if they will do book to book transfers with Hollywood Sportsbook, I am pretty sure they are faster. They are on the same platform unless something has changed.

When I was new to internet betting Bodog and Sportsbook were the first two books (back in 2007-2008) I signed up for

As the poster above me said, they have good URLs/search engine optimization that puts them ahead of the other books in Google and what not

After a couple of big withdrawals taking months to receive, I started looking online and found all of the much better books out there

Get paid yet jcv? I'm in the same boat, except not quite as much. I usually bet fairly small and like to have about $500 in an account, I have a $2500 check pending (only for about a week) and another $3k in my account. Ideally I'd like to cash out $5k now, but obviously that's not an option. I have a couple friends who got paid in Nov/Dec, it took 3-4 weeks, but those were only $500-$1k checks.

FWIW I requested $5k from sportsbook.ag on December 28 via wire to bank. Funds arrived yesterday in my account but in the amount of $4760. I emailed and they said the difference is due to a "currency exchange" rate issue.

Which doesn't really make sense because if you exchange $5k from US dollars to whatever Costa Rican currency and then send it to the US, wouldn't it be roughly the same amount plus/minus a dollar or two. Not 5%. Anyway they are looking into crediting the balance back to my account. But I am basically shocked at how quick it arrived from them.

5% is high but not out of the realm of possibility depending on the currencies involved.

They put the difference back into my account plus the $15 foreign wire fee my bank charged. Works for me.
