BitBook has been hit with a large DDoS atack that knocked out parts of our hosting provider's datacenter. We are working with our hosting provider on restoring our service.
We have the site back up and running at https://193.107.87.39/
We are still working on getting bitbook.biz back up and running.

#7this book has been pretty solid. You can get a nice sized amount down and they payout quickly without issues. The DDOS is most likely an attempt at trying to steal their bitcoins using the transaction malleability issue. However, if they have followed the bitcoin devs protocol then everything should be fine.Comment -

#13Bitbook is not Down
I was able to visit their site, login to my account and quickly transfer withdraw BT, I can't openly accuse these people to be attempting to take the money and run, but the way I was able to access their site give me solid grounds to believe that something fishy is going on. I will not publish the method to reach their website in the public view, I REPEAT I will not publish the method to visit their site in the public view. Feel yourself free to PM-me and I will give you the details about how to do it.Comment -

#17Some clarification needed:
1. bitbook is back up and no players balances were involved. All is well.
2. Most of the negative posts are by people who have a vested interest in traditional books.
3. bitbook allows big bets and near instant withdrawals after the event with NO fees.
I can withdraw from a bitcoin book and have it sent to my coinbase account and then deposited into my back account 3 days later with a very small fee and I can do this every day of the week.
Yeah...now you can see why the traditional books that service USA are afraid. Also, Pinny is the leader in the offshore market and someone was saying that Pinny's SBO book accepts bitcoins.
There really is no reason for a USA punter to use any other book except a bitcoin book.
As with any NEW technology there will be bumps. However, I feel much better knowing I can withdraw every single day after the days betting. This limits the most I can lose to 1 day of wagers. Pretty good if you ask me
PS. Bitbook offers affiliate deals--why does SBR not get involved as an affiliate ?Comment -
