However, I should point out to you that the operator’s terms and conditions made it clear that customer funds were not protected in the event of insolvency. Generally speaking there is no guarantee as to the rate at which funds are repaid or against insolvency if a gambling operator runs into financial difficulties, although some operators do take steps towards protecting customer funds.
