    How do you stay under the radar in recreational books?
    What tricks do you use to not being limited or banned in recreational books?

    Some thoughts:

    - Enjoy soft lines but do not make arbers. Look at any odds comparison to see if at time bet is placed the payout, considering the max odds of each side in the market, is under 100%. If it is over, do not bet.

    - Avoid withdrawals. Just take $ out when limited;

    - Do not bet the maximum wager;

    - Avoid betting immediately after the opening.

    - Make accumulators sometimes to look like a square bettor.

    Anything else?

    Props. Even if your only reason for playing at a certain book is their props, do not exclusively bet props all the time. Mix in some sides and totals. I have been booted for just playing props.

      yeah never 'pin' is the big one(max bet) if the limit is 1000 make it 999, referals and max bets sends all sorts of alarm bells ringing.....

      the big one though is never adjust stakes.....if your a £10 bettor dont be having £600 that will get youra ccount sliced up real quick.....keep the stakes balanced.....

      good list though will be interested to see what others say....

          If you hit weak lines, you will be limited! There is no way to escape...

            Not worth trying. You're giving too much away by not taking the best odds you can find.
            Just hit them for as much as you can before they limit the crap out of you and then move on.

              That is what many pros do

              If your a smaller player though and like the book then betting half the limit is ok

                  Only bet on major leagues/events

                  Putting £500 down on a Icelandic 2nd division game will make you stick out

                    Superhans that's a pretty good strategy also and of course they take much bigger limits

                    I would think even hundred dollar players will get banned eventually if you keep winning

                        Books like 5dimes will limit you quickly no matter how hard you try to stay under the radar. But there are are plenty of other books that are not so quick.....and I've enjoyed long profitable relationships at many. Here are a few things I do.

                        1. Props - as you metioned don't bet limits. If limit is $500, I never go over $400.
                        2. I only make withdrawals when having a LOSING WEEK. I never withdrawal after a good stretch.
                        3. I make sure to feed them a large side or total bet on a major sport from time to time, rather than exclusively on props and 2nd tier sports.
                        4. I never complain or bring attention to myself in any way. There was a wager graded incorrectly at a book a few months ago...I wrote a nice letter explaining my position, but they still refused to pay it. I knew I was right and could have esculated the complaint with them to a watchdog site but decided to simply take the hit as I am in this for the long haul.

                          The problem here is there's no universal answer.

                          What works well for some books might not for others, it depends how they're profiling accounts. If it's an automatic statistical calculation for how often you bet value (measured against some weighted average of multiple books' closing lines), there's going to be no way to evade it.

                          If it's a more manual effort, avoiding drawing attention to yourself is the obvious answer.

                                If you are up long term at a sportsbook(s) and have never been limited, then you are very lucky. There are no books that I am aware of that won't take measures to limit long term winners except for Pinnacle and the exchanges. 5dimes and Bovada have very fast triggers....the Bookmaker family and Heritage will let you go longer but eventually will limit you on sports you are doing well in.

                                  Unfortunately, your limits may get collared even if you're losing. Just pick value odds, take advantage of slow-line-moving book and you wiill be limited in no time. There was an article I wrote about this subject. There's some ways to delay your limit process. I call these tactics "camouflage". Please search forum.
