matchbook is running a promo of 0% commission on soccer , so their liquidity has been raised.Still don't get why soccer matches have better liquidity at betfair compared to matchbook ? matchbook 0% , betfair 7% , at least my country

For some it is like being a bookie, you offer one price sell the other side and take your profit, probably a lot of deep pockets at betfair

Betfair's Asian handicap markets have a fixed 0.75% commission.

Most regular Betfair users would be paying much less than the base commission rate due to having earned discounts of up to 60%.

I seed a fair bit on bf and a little on betdaq. As a % I'm a much bigger player on bd but in real terms it's less that 10% of my volume. Don't go near matchbook.

tennispro and hareeba thanks for your answers. You confirmed my suspicions.

I did not understand the part about staying away from matchbook. Why?

I have looked at them a few times, first time was 2-3 years ago maybe, their odds display did my head in. Subsequently looked and didn't seem to be any in play stuff and no advantage for me. Looked a few months ago and didn't see anyting of interest, average odds etc.. will have another look and reply, perhaps they more interesting now.

I'm acually very disappointed with Betdaq, I have 6 figs there and can't do much with it however hard I try.

Had another look at MB, seems ok, depends what you used to, can see its appealing to some, it seems behind the curve it terms of what I'm looking for, have emailed them asking for some clarification on some points.

on non soccer markets there are bots that make liquidity but with huge margin - 20%. i cant proove those are betfair bots, and they might not be aswell. but these bots has very fast info and react very fast so they must use on stadium info. and that can be only a company service becose reporters services are not offered in this way to individuals. not to mention that those bots can set odds during whole games without even a single matched bet - so that prooves its not a human but some application.

                              Matchbook is decent

Betfair is out of this world

A lot of betfair volume is auto or program traders using 3rd party software that is reality available on net
