#2Books like that have a reputation to maintain so there is a reasonable chance they would cover the debt. No guarantee, but certainly possible. Certainly a higher likelihood than if you bet at Bill's credit shop.
I've heard of cases where Pinnacle has covered and agents debt when he disappeared or even died. That said I have no idea if that is true. That said, if one has a multimillion dollar reputation that business is likely to cover some thousands in debt to maintain a great image.Comment -

#4Some places do pay per head where they don't do the accounting or handle money. A street bookie might pay the site a small fee for access to their lines but they wouldnt have any idea what was paid or not paid to an account number with no name. That said, if a site was servicing a scammer it can sometimes be pursued. The scammer might not want to lose his options and be told to settle.Comment -

#6In theory the name of the site wouldnt matter. Your business is with whoever set up the account with you. Its like if you used contest software to track units or an online betting spreadsheet. The website only shows what data is input. For example if I made you account 123456 and you won 50 bucks and I zeroed out your balance and noted that I paid you $50, but you never got the $50 what happens next? The pph site I used made $6 dollars and certainly isnt going to pay $50. Not to mention you could have actually got the $50 and you and I are working together to scam the pph site out of $25 a piece.Comment -

#7So why would any one use these services from the players prospective?
So the name of the PPH has no factor is relative safety of funds.Comment -

#8Anyone familiar with SBObitcoin and how they work? It seems like they deposit funds into a Pinnacle account, and you login to Pinnacle to play. That would seem to make it slightly safer (funds at Pinnacle until withdrawal). Is this accurate?Comment -

#9People do it to track their bets with their neighborhood bookie... not much different than if he used Google docs from the players perspective.Comment -
