Canbet Sportsbook has stopped taking bets and deposits

Hi guys,

Canbet Sportsbook has ceased accepting bets and deposits as of 31 December 2013. Canbet updated its website homepage this morning with the news. This comes nearly three weeks after Canbet management claimed to SBR that all players with outstanding payouts would receive their funds in a week.

Does not look good and this place had 150x the customers a place like BI had

Big books can fail too just like big companies can fail.

Canbet rated D. Is JJ insinuating that this site's rating system is a complete joke and that not a single player should pay any attention to them. I mean if a D rated book can have 150x the clients of a book that was in good standings here....

Maybe just me and I'm a sucker but I looked specifically at this site as a guideline. I never heard of 5 dimes until February 2012

Canbet has been around for at least 10 years with only a few no pays in that time and cases are still open. Most of those years place has been a B rated book in my eyes . It has slipped that last few years.

No such thing as a perfect rating system, I view myself as a sportsbook expert because of my 13 year knowledge since day 1 the 1st book openened.

Ratings are a tool but you still have to do your own research and read player reviews around site .
