    There's no bookmakers left, only accountants.

    Sportsbetting will always bet you on racing but they bet off the fluc board and never usually have the top odds. Palmerbet and Topsport look promising as far as racing goes.

    I'd love regulation enforcing minimum obligations like on course bookmakers face but it's a pipe dream.

      We had it (albeit for a lesser amount) for about 18 months with the NT regulated bookies but the whinging Pommie cowards managed to convince the pathetically ignorant administrators that it wasn't fair on them! No consultation with punters took place.

      Not that the rule was effective anyway. A "bookie" who didn't want to lay a horse to you for $1000 or a sports bet for $500 would simply deny you access to the product instead. And the NT commission allowed them to do it!!
