processor issues drove him bananas. maybe he did give it up.

He just seemed like a total lifer. Guy could talk sports and the industry forever. He would leave me messages on my account "Call Me Bud - Scotty J" all the time. Often times it was for something that wasn't even a big deal but he wanted to square it away.

I kept in touch with him for a little bit after Betjamaica disbanded but haven't heard a peep about him.

He was one of the best in the business.

Best customer service guy in the industry. I miss Betjamaica. They were the best of any book. Scotty was hands down the best. I could call him on his private number anytime and he would handle any issue. Is it for real he is at Americas Bookie? I might have to sign up there.

I dunno, it could be...I thought his name was Scott S. He was working at The Greek a few years ago.

Well Greek and Betjamaica were partners. It was definitely Scotty J although I'm sure it wasn't his real name. Nobody seems to give a serious answer as to where he is. Hope he is doing well whatever it is.

I used to crack up when he would tell me what some people tried to swindle him with on Golf wagers.

The Scott that I dealt with during the 90's at Bowmans told me he ran the risk management department & on several occasions he told me stories about running the sportsbook at the Stardust in the early 80's. He had a really deep voice & spoke very matter of factly.
He is the reason I never left Bowmans for many years until they were bought out by Bet365.

Same here...I played at Bowmans until they shut down. After that he worked at The Greek. I lost touch with him after that.
