I've been using 5Dimes for a while and usually take ** payouts. I recently made the mistake of requesting a check. On their site it says the payout will take up to 10 business days to arrive after the requested date. I requested the payout 10/9, it was processed 10/10. It is now 10/25 and nothing has shown up. All I continue to get is "please wait one more day" every time I talk to them, followed up with "Accounting is aware, they will contact you tomorrow with an update." Tomorrow has come multiple times and I'm still short a grand here. I've talked to Monica, Butch, Natalia and several others and they keep giving me the same spiel that appears to automated messages for situations like this. Customer service isn't too keen on assisting with payout inquiries. Word to the wise, do not use 5dimes if you use checks.

Thanks for the heads up man. I tried my luck having them cancel the check and reissue the money via **, but they weren't having any of it.

By the way, since I already made the mistake of not waiting for another Western Uniond payout and took a check out, where should I cash this if and when I get it? I bank at a local credit union, should I try walmart or something?

5dimes sent me a bad check awhile back...then they banned me from getting anymore. I also had to pay out of pocket to send the check back to costa rica!Comment -
Hey Guys, I'm reporting back on this check issue. There was a severe miscommunication, not on Tony's part, 5dimes, or even FedEx. Tony contacted me personally and said to check back with him after this past weekend and he would get an update from FedEx. I talked to him just now and he told me the check had already been delivered and signed for two weeks ago-this would be 4 days after the check was requested. I was in shock and didn't know what to do. I called FedEx and they told me I hadn't received anything, well apparently talking to FedEx International is not the place to go. He provided me the tracking number, I called back and they confirmed the delivery signed by someone who was not me, but after checking with my front office here, there was in fact someone in the front office of our complex with the named provided on the signature. Typically FedEx leaves me a note that the package was left in the front office, except for this time apparently. SO no, Tony did not screw me over and no 5Dimes did not take over two weeks to send a check. They actually got it to me in 2 business days. I retract any comment I made regarding the slow check payout process. So new word to the wise, any form of payout via 5dimes, will get to you in an efficient manner.Comment
