Not going to complain just yet...here is the situation. I placed a bet on the pirates today at 7:30p. The play was on the bored not knowing it was a 7:05 game. My receipt also says wager placed at 7:30p. I then checked espn and it was already 3-0 in the third?? What do you make of this. I know if I had won it would not have been valid

Past-post should be an auto-cancel in my mind.
But... I've heard mods/former mods on this site and others argue that since its a player taking a shot, books can hang lines after the fact and basically free-roll you. There was a heritage complaint about this, but he took the winning side and obviously was a shot taker, same concept though.Comment -

Yes regular book. I don't do live betting in baseball. Also pretty sure they wouldn't have the pirates game live anyhow. Being down 3-0 and Pitt the favorite lolComment -
Bookmaker has every game live and I was following it, so yea they did. At 3-0 Padres in the 3rd, I think it was Pitt +250. Regardless, it's definitely an interesting case. Would have to think they'd void all wagers at 7:10 immediately after realizing it was up too long. Wouldn't think bookmaker is one to take shots at players but who knows.Comment -
