I'd been cut off a long time ago, but I still had a few unused points, so I wanted to cash them in while they were still worth full value. I'd put in a few requests, and only one was granted. I got on chat this morning to try to get the rest of my points converted, and the CSR told me that I couldn't even REDEEM betpoints since I'm nonrecreational. AFAIK, that has never been policy before. I've redeemed plenty of times after I got cut off, and plenty of other people around here have too. Not only did they fail to redeem, they actually deleted the freeplay I'd already been given (!).
After bitching at a supervisor, who initially tried to uphold the new policy, I got the points converted properly, but.. not only are they killing the value, they have every intention of trying to steal accumulated betpoints now.. and the supervisor told me that being unable to redeem betpoints for anything wasn't stealing them, lol.
