Currency dillemas when signing up with sites
    Hi everyone

I am signing up at a number of sports books, I live in Australia but I see many sites dont even have AU currency so I was wondering if you guys could advise me on the best way to go? Should I sign up with USD on all the sites to keep them consistent and then AU on any sites that have Australian currency? I want to try to avoid losing on the conversions as much as possible, and I read on these boards that most sites charge for converting funds.
SO whats the best way? Should I sign up under AU whenever possible and USD if AU isnt available?

    best regards

    Justin

Welcome aussie justin. It's up to you, but, if you find AU in a book that would be the best, if you make a deposit using Moneybookers in AU but your account in the book is in US you'll end up having problems with currency exchange rates. For example, if you deposit 100 AU through them you will be expecting to have it's equivalent in USD, but you'll end up with a little more or less than that. Same thing if you do it the other way around.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

Some books will convert your funds into a different currency, which does pose a problem when you have to pay the exchange fees. However, I have compiled a list that you might find helpful with your quest, sir.

Open a moneybookers in US dollars, use a US dollar bank account to fund it, and keep your gambling dollars segregated from your other funds.

That is the way I do it in Canada.

That's a good option for you as well.
