How to sign up with a UK book as a US citizen?
Does anybody know if there is a way to acquire an account with a UK book as a US citizen? Any loop holes or ways around this barrier. International address, 3rd party venues ect? Have grown tired of the Costa Rico books over the years. Would really like to re-establish my account with TheGreek.

So its not more illegal, just more risk of not being paid. Thanks , that makes sense.

The question OP should be asking is ...

How can I withdraw money from a foreign sportsbook that does not allow US residents? OP will find out quickly that a foreign bank account will be needed. Moneybookers and Neteller are quite strict in this regard. Incredibly so.

You can actually open a bank account in many countries. Australia and Canada are fairly simple. UK and Europe will ask more questions but it's not impossible if you look reasonable and have a decent amount of cash and a reason to be in the country.

From there it should be easy to open accounts.

                          Good luck

Canada not a good option for Americans. They are too tight with the US Gov't. Banks will close your account if they notice large transfers to/from gambling companies. Be prepared to give an explanation for any offshore wire transfer.

you do need a valid proof of address. the assumption you can just walk in a branch and just give them a random address without any supporting documents and walk out with a bank account is simply false.
