Marathonbet.co.uk not paying £5200. Anyone with issues?

Hi,

Last Thursday, I requested a withdrawal of £5200 from Marathonbet.

My account has already been verified and I've received a withdrawal before but when I requested this one, they subsequently suspended my account.

I have contacted them several times and have been told each time there are technical issues etc etc...basically they keep trying to fob me off with silly excuses and will not tell me when i should expect my winnings.

Anyone had these issues before?

Since the last SBR reported claim, more than a half dozen users have written in asking to have their account screening expedited.

MarathonBet isn't willing to disclose what leads to additional KYC following being cleared in the first place, but we have seen in all cases to date they eventually pay the balances and in some cases also close the accounts.

I don't think there's a need to worry. Just be transparent and offer to get your documents notarized.

I have a UK address for them so worse comes to worse I can always initiate a small claims against them. Has anyone had success doing that?

Admin - are these other people also being fobbed off with "technical issues" with payouts and other similarly pathetic excuses?

I dont think anyone has actually done that. They normally pay up by then if they are clearly in the wrong.

You do realise Marathonbet.co.uk are a UK bookie regulated by Alderney right?

Their parent company Panbet Ltd operates land based shops in the UK, I don't think there should be many concerns on their solvency.

So far they've just unblocked the account, limited me to £1 bets on EVERYTHING but have not sent my winnings in the time frame they stated.

OK, after contacting them again they have finally sent the money.

Sounds like they suspect but can't prove, so they pay and close account :-)

Previously banned/limited player or money laundering would be the usual candidates. Doesn't need to be anything much to do with you, just having a similar geographical location or betting patterns.

Marathon has incredible odds, they don't offer bonuses, but arbers must cheat on them, creating multiples accounts to restore limits.
