    Is 5Dimes going under?
They have had their site down and come back online multiple times the last few days. I saw people on here today say it was down this morning then came back up around 8:59. When I looked around 9:30 it was down and then it was back up a little after 10. When the site came back online, I looked and saw that they had posted lines (spread and moneyline) for all the NCAA first and second round games. They told me over the phone that the area had had multiple power outages.

I think it is one of 3 things: 1.) They want to slow down the volume on NCAA tournament and spread the volume out how they see fit, 2.) There really has been MULTIPLE power outages EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past few days, or 3.) the book, this so-called well established book that has been around since the late 90's, is going under like a BetIslands or is about to be seized by the gambling-hating US of A.

My question is: do you think the power outages excuse is legit, or should people pull their money out and just stick to locals?

I don't think tech problems are always related to financial instability.

You ever seen Costa Rica? I'd believe power outages could definitely be a commonly occurring problem there.

I highly doubt 5dimes is done. With their lines, offerings, and client base, there is no way they don't make money. BI realized this was the most money they would ever have, and it was downhill from their, so they closed up shop. 5dimes would be leaving a lot of money on the table if they packed it in.

Apparently we have to check in on a countries weather patterns and power usage now before wanting to place bets, if it really is power outages they have been having, smdh.

a few tech glitches and power outages dont mean anything about going under

payouts issues would be concern, but they arent having any of those

I really cannot believe that anyone would already be talking about 5dimes closing because of them being down for awhile a few times. any place may close or be shut down. and fast if the US gov. is involved. but this down time is not a reason to panic, at least not at 5dimes. maybe it's that they have more customers than ever and could not keep up with all the live betting. seems more logical than they are getting ready to steal everyone's money like BI.

Good grief! Of course it's legit. Having their site go down only costs them money. Take a deep breath and relax. If you're that paranoid, perhaps you shouldn't gamble offshore.

                                1) This may be the dumbest post of all time. There is so much wrong with everything you said.. but most of all, "1.) They want to slow down the volume on NCAA tournament and spread the volume out how they see fit". A sportsbook is better off with more volume... more juice... more money. They would never wanna slow down volume on the NCAA tourney figuring its one of the biggest public events of the year for them. Tons of square $$ that they would gladly accept.

                                2) Obviously 5Dimes took out insurance for the 10 million dollar bracket contest. It would not break them at all... if anything, it would give them great publicity.
