Hello. I'm from the UK, now living in Spain and working in Gibraltar. As some of you will know, Spain has recently introduced gambling legislation requiring bookmakers to have a license to operate in Spain. So that with some bookies, I can only place bets in Gibraltar. And even if they do have a Spanish license, they have a .es version of their website where I can't use my UK login details.
What's the best way to bet in this situation? Am I allowed to have accounts with both the .com and .es websites? Wouldn't this arrangement cause suspicion among the risk teams? Shall I just wait until I'm in Gib to place the bets I can't in Spain? What about income tax on winnings from gambling, something that's an issue in Spain?
