Three and a half weeks ago, SBR (SportsbookReview.com) went deep into damage control, as it was revealed that BetIslands was closing, stealing a total of $1.5 million from over 350 customers, a vast majority of them coming from SBR.
SBR’s response was discouraging, as Bill Dozer said that the clients bear the bulk of the blame: “A book sponsoring the forum is not a guarantee. Everything on the site, including the posters poll and discussions, is information for users to make their own decisions.”
