    Digibet ridiculous bet fees

    III. Wager and processing fees

For each wager, a processing fee may be applied. The fee can be reduced or waived for individual types of bets. The amount of the processing fee is shown after the bet has been placed. The processing fee is not included in the basis of assessment for calculation of winnings.
As from the 11th December 2012 all bets placed by the customers will be
generally charged by Digibet to a 5% fee which will be deducted from their gross
    winnings.

The gross winning is the stake multiplied by the odds. Once the 5% fee has
deducted from the gross winnings, the net winnings will
be transferred to the customer’ account to be paid out.

The charged fee will be clearly displayed to the customer at the moment of the
bet placement and is considered to be concluded with the customer’ final
    confirmation.

Though it is Digibet’s sole discretion with every bet to waive such fee
partially ot totally and pay the fee themselves.

I would love to hear what Justin7 have to say about this policy. This fee applies to ALL customers, no matter where are they from.To me this is blatant cheating and stealing.Even before this they had horrible juice, now I cant find word for it anymore...."rip off juice"?

The 5% tax is nothing to do with the Digibet or any individual book but the new German Federal Betting Act, this means those companies affected have to pay regardless of what you may think.

Not sure what there is to understand........any customer who bets in a German regulated book, whether or not from that country is liable to pay the extra 5%. The choice is simple, if you dont want to pay the extra, dont play at any books under the umbrella of German regulation. I gave this lot a miss as soon as the new law kicked in.

You are completely wrong, tax is only for German citizens, other companies didnt implement tax like that. And Digibet is registered at Gibraltar so they are not directly under the German law.
