#37I think you asked me this in a different thread. I primarily use betislands, legends, gtbets, and 5dimes (even tho 5dimes customer service is probably the worst in the industry). I've never had an issue with BI, gtbets or legends, and only a couple small issues with 5D. I'm not a big time bettor. My deposits are between $300-$500 so these books fulfill my needs just fine. I used to LOVE Heritage and still have an acct there to this day, but you cant possibly deny that they havent taken leaps and bounds in the wrong direction. I haven't played there in a few months and have no intention in the upcoming months unless something drastic changes there.Comment -

#38If you want to ignore Heritage's downfall, that's your choice. Anyone who thinks they are even a shell of their old self is just plain ignoring the facts.Comment -

I've been using Heritage since my move from Betjamaica. Haven't had a problem winning or losing since then. They've been really great and management answers any questions I have right away. I try not to deal with the regular customer service if I have a question I know they won't know how to resolve.
I can't comment on them prior to the merger.Comment -

#40thanks for the advice. One question, your style of posting is identical to pokerplayer22 who stopped posting about the same time you came along, seems he was cory's biggest fan, sure he misses the support.Comment -

#41I'm far from a Cory supporter, I just think that the way Heritage handled his whole situation was a total joke (as bad a EZstreet) and imo they are no where near the same as they used to be. If you ask me if my money is safe there, without a doubt I would say yes. But I think any of the books I mentioned above are far better books nowadays than Heritage.Comment -

#43Then why do they even bother putting up props, 1H lines, futures, etc if they really don't want you betting them? Only joke books kick people out for betting these and tell them they need more NFL side action from you. Why don't Heritage put the do's and dont's regarding why and how accounts get closed in their terms and conditions. Probably impossible for them to do since it just varies at their discretion and always have SBR back them up in any dispute. Oh and did it ever occur to you that maybe you get to keep your account because in every dispute you always rule in their favor?Comment -

#44I have a friend with a similar story regarding Heritage. And he's by no means a guru, just your textbook recreational player with too much money to waste.
I get that books will and do close accounts of long-term winners. But Heritage seems much quicker to jump the gun and is not particularly upfront with the reasons. They also seem to add exotics and then punish players who start using them. They just feel like a book that isn't worth the hassle anymore.Comment -

#45I was considering them a couple of months ago, as an extra out for US sports... I dont have an account there so cant personally comment, but, by the sound of things in this thread, a fair comparison would be Heritage is basically like EU books, just lesser safe for your funds, right?Comment -

#46I've been tossed from SIA and BI. With 5d, Heritage, Greek and BM, I had severe limits put in place. I spoke to them, found out what they didn't want, promised to avoid what they did not want. The accounts became useful again.
A book has a right to reject anyone for any or no reason. Your sportsbook is a business partner. You can still beat them, and give them utility. But don't expect to keep taking their money if they get no benefit from your action.Comment -

#47Heritage is a very good out IMHO they fall in between Greek & Betjam. Always been in my top three US books but they do seem to have a very tight risk management department which is why some people don't care for them.Comment
