I think what he says is reasonable for someone who wants to make a $5k bet for example and be in and out. That is not unreasonable if you're gonna do that every once in a while.

its easier for me to log on my phone and click submit. I couldnt imagine going to the airport waiting 2 hours, taking a 5 hour flight. Getting a cab go to the casino wait in line and then lose and have to go all the way home.. Just because we bet doesnt mean we don't have a life. If i went to vegas every weekend that is not a life i want.

agreed with WTT...in fact, I will be in vegas next month and will not wager with one of the LV books. I don't want to deal with the B.S lines and crowds. Would much rather avoid busy books. Better lines offshore too. Maybe I'll play some poker, but mostly I will be having a crazy, fun time.

Dude, offshore books have much more betting options than any Vegas book. You also have instantaneous booking of your bet rather than waiting 15 minutes behind some schmuck in line that can't read a sportsbook odd and needs a 20 minute explanation on what a friggin run line in baseball is.

If you are willing to spend $300 in expenses ( never mind the days of wasted time ) every time you want to wager $1000, you are going to go broke quickly. And, sending and receiving money from offshore doesn't cost me anything --- the offshore books will pick those up.

Not everybody lives close to Vegas, and the majority of guys on here have lives (I guess) outside of gambling that they need to attend to. Leaving the wife and kids every other day to gamble is dangerous territory.
