Torres is doubtful for Liverpool plus Chelsea haven't lost in their last 90 or so home games.

Liverpool don't have a good record there:

Then again, pretty much nobody has a good record away to Chelsea.

Under might be a good bet. Pulled that one out my *** though, haven't researched it at all.

its +385 now, i consider liverpool better than chelsea, or atleast good enough that i wouldn't consider either that big an underdog to the other, i'm considering the draw though. Games between the top teams are tough. are you guys staying away?

Liverpool without Torres really struggle for goals - you saw that midweek, they were miles better, but couldn't get the 2nd goal to kill the game. As a result, Atletico nicked an equaliser. Against Chelsea, Liverpool's attack minus Torres will be just a touch conventional. There's also apparently some doubt that Keane will be fit.

Also been very impressed with Scolari's influence, they're much more professional and well balanced than last season.

On the other hand, don't see much value in the home result, the draw bites into it too much. On top of that, you've got Chelsea's unbeaten 85ish home match streak, and Liverpool haven't lost in 15 league games. They're both very solid, combative in midfield, strong in defence, yet missing strikers (Drogba is out too). It all points to a low scoring draw - that's always a good bet between these two.

Liverpool better than Chelsea? In what way? Take out Gerrard and Torres out of the Liverpool line-up and you have a mediocre team!
I think Chelsea will win this one by 1-0.

It's +400 now so I think Liverpool will win this one by 1-0.

Saw the match - wasn't a good one. Defences on top for both sides, Liverpool scored via a nasty deflection, very lucky.

Liverpool impressively well organised though, stifled Chelsea in a way few others manage. Mascherano was excellent, as usual - I've been saying for years he'd turn out to be the best defensive mid on the planet, and he is that now.
