Welling/Nuneaton game screwed me out of having a great day, was the game I put least research in to and served me right. Although, I thought I was going to get at least a push on the Welling DNB after Welling took lead early in second half but then they went and conceded an equaliser a few mins later and then Nuneaton snatched a winner in 90th min Then Cambridge go and take a 2-0 lead at Barnet and blow it and only end up drawing. Alfreton and Halifax were gift lines really considering how strong they both are at home. Still, just over £400 profit so satisfied, but would of been nearer £750 if I'd stayed away from Welling game.

Italy/Nigeria Over 2 goals @ -149...

Italy could score 2 or 3 alone with Candreva, Giaccherini, Rossi, and Balo. Also got two attack minded full backs in Maggio and Pasqual. Nigeria should also be able to score 1 with that Italy defense. Ogbonna and Ranocchia can be liabilities at times, especially the latter.

Each of Italy's last 9 friendlies have had at least 2 goals (7 have been over 2.5).

An easy winner in the end. Italy were always going to concede at least one with that defense!

Was freezing in second half but a lot more entertaining than expected, atmosphere was amazing and seeing my local side dump out a team 3 divisions above them was pretty cool! Gillingham were like a pub team in first half though, but upped the tempo in second and BRackley got lucky, ball just wouldnt go in for Gillingham - they hit post twice and Whelpdale hit over from 2 yards out. A 20 year old keeper who only made his debut on Saturday had to play in place of suspended Billy Turley - there were even rumours that Brackley were going to play assistant Manager Darren Collins who is 45 in goal or an outfield player because of the lack of faith in this keeper and because they couldnt get an emergency loanee in to replace Turley! But he went and had a terrific game and kept a cleansheet so that was a nice story! I much prefer games like these then going to a Prem game!

The Brackley Ultras (Ha!) set off a flare after we scored in first half! place went mental! I was right amongst it...

Small play on Bury DNB @ -182 at home to Cambridge Utd tonight in FA Cup...

I played Cambridge DNB at wknd when they played Barnet away and I wasnt impressed. Barnet could and probably deserved to win it after having a goal disallowed in 91st min. Cambridge scored two quickfire goals and although they were both superb finishes by Kwesi Appiah, they both came from Barnet's defensive errors more then great play by Cambridge. Many will think Cambridge have a great chance of an upset tonight as they are leading the Conference and Bury are in poor form but I think Bury may finally get the home win they've been looking for tonight.
