#8299ANother play that should be faded!
Cork/Shelbourne Over 1 goal 1st half @ -130...
Has been over 2 goals or more scored in the 1st half of 5 out of Shelbourne's last 6 games (the other game had 1 goal). Last game they were involved in that didnt have a goal in first half was 4th August at Bray. With my luck today the run will end tonight of course!Comment -

#8300Got way too much on this at moment but for Conference this weekend I'm playing:
Gateshead PK @ -169 at home to Alfreton...
Both sides have injury issues and/or suspensions to deal with going in to this game. Gateshead's defender Carl Magnay (11 apps, 2 goals, and 1st winner of Football Icon TV show!) got injured in the mid-week game which is a blow, and regular left-back Luke O'Brien (9 apps) got injured in training last Monday. Consequently, Manager Gary Mills has moved swiftly to bring in a back-up by signing young Middlesbrough left-wing back and Lewis Sirrell on short-term loan.
Alfreton also have some regular players unavailable due to injury/suspension at the moment. Key defender Fenton (13 apps, 1 goal) is still suspended - a player they missed greatly in the surprise mid-week 1-0 loss at home to Chester. Another player they clearly missed was forward Paul Clayton (13 apps, 3 goals) who is out for a few more weeks. His work-rate and ability to hold the ball up in the final third was a significant loss against Chester. His replacement Wishart (10 apps, 2 goals) also went off injured during the Chester game, and to make matters worse defender Wylde (9 apps) had to go off with a shoulder injury. Finally, another defender Chris Westwood (8 apps) is still out injured.
The big problem for Alfreton is that they don't have a squad as big as most teams in the league, including Gateshead. The home side have over 20 players in their squad, while Alfreton only have 13 or 14 players available going in to this game on Saturday. This is partly due to Manager Law having to reduce the wage-bill of the team by 25% at the beginning of the season, and he decided to reduce the quantity rather than quality. He has said this week that he is looking for emergency loan signings and trying to get at least one before the game on Saturday but as of now I haven't heard of him getting anybody in.
In terms of form, Gateshead have improved recently after a poor start to the season where they lost 4 games in a row. However since then they have won 6 out of their last 9 games, and 2 of those 3 losses where away at 2 of the promotion contenders this season in Cambridge and Forest Green (who are also both very strong at home). Alfreton meanwhile did have 1 of the best home records in the league with a 100% win record up until Wednesday night's loss against Chester. Away from home they have been complete opposite, winning 1 and losing 5. They have scored 5 goals on their travels, only Aldershot, Dartford, and Southport have scored 1 fewer. The head-to-head also bodes well for a play on Gateshead when you see that they have won 4 out of 4 home fixtures against Alfreton since 2008 - scoring 9 goals and conceding just once. Gateshead have won 6 lost 2 in total head-to-head with Alfreton home and away.
One of Alfreton's issues in last couple of games has been their failure to keep possession. Against Chester on Wednesday (1-0 loss) they only had 45% of possession, and against Forest Green last weekend (won 3-2) they only had 45% possession again. This doesn't bode well when you consider that both of those games where at home where they are supposedly dominant yet still didnt have more possession then their opponents, and that they now have to go to a side in Gateshead that had a whopping Bayern Munichesq 74% possession in their last home game against Dartford which they dominated and won 2-0! They also had 53% possession away at Hyde mid-week and cruised to another 2-0 win.
At the end of the day, this is lower-level Pro football and anything can happen. You often get big upsets when you least expect them, and Alfreton may well come out all fired up after losing for first time at home this season in the mid-week game, while Gateshead may get casual and sloppy after comfortably seeing off the worst side in the league in Hyde on Wednesday. But with the combination of Gateshead's recent improvement in form and ability to keep possession, combined with Alfreton's poor away record so far this season and injury/suspension issues, I have to go reasonably big on the Gateshead PK.Comment -

#8302Nice one Andy! Looks like I made right decision staying away from the -4.25 that I nearly pulled trigger on! I really thought they'd turn it on in second half and score 3 or 4, especially seeing as San Marino had 10 players for half the game!Comment -

#8303yeah i must admit at 3-0 i thought that would be it, i had locked the play early in the first half thankfully as the odds on correct score for 4-0 was plumetting as the game went on. other than that i made some small plays on over 2.5 goals on the portugal u21 match and over 3.5 on spain u21 match, made small profits on them, but thankfully now recovered from that dire night of the JPT the other night, back in business! got 1 nhl play tonight, over 5.5 goals tampa bay if you are interestedComment -

GATESHEAD v ALFRETON TOWN PREVIEW
Friday Oct 11, 2013
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12th, 3pm
by Matt Carter
Alfreton Town will be looking to bounce back on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Gateshead in the Skrill Premier.
Having surprisingly lost their unbeaten home record on Tuesday night against struggling Chester, the Reds will know that they must now improve on their away form which has seen them pick up just one win in six games.
The trip to the North East, where the Reds have never done particularly well in the past, is made far more challenging by the fact that Alfreton are in the midst of an injury crisis which has seen the squad pulled to its bare bones. With central defender Nick Fenton already out serving a suspension, the backline has been further weakened by a shoulder injury to fellow centre back Michael Wylde sustained last time out and Bradley Wood broke a toe in the defeat against Chester in midweek.
Further to that striker Daniel Wishart was also forced from the field through a hamstring injury, in the process joining Chris Westwood and Paul Clayton on what is now an extensive injury list.
If that didn't make the Reds task difficult enough they are set to face a Gateshead side who are bang in form - picking up four wins in their last five outings, which has seen them recover from a stuttering start to climb to a respectable thirteenth position and just three points shy of Alfreton.
The sides met three times last season with Alfreton encouragingly coming out on top twice, although Gateshead won the only one of those contests to be played at the Gateshead International Stadium - clinching a 2-0 victory.
Given their injury problems and away record the Reds undoubtedly go into this one as underdogs, but as we saw with Chester's victory at the Impact Arena on Tuesday anything can happen in this league.
As well as that, Alfreton have shown plenty of quality this season to suggest that even with limited resources there is nobody they can't match - albeit even if their strongest showings to date have come at home.
Now under the management of former Reds boss Gary Mills, Gateshead are without full-back Carl Magnay (ankle) and midfield man Micky Cummins (broken hand) along with injured fringe players Luke O'Brien, Dan Smith and Joe Tait.
Mills has strengthened his options by bringing in left-sided defensive player Lewis Sirrell from Middlesbrough.

#8306Armenia PK @ -213 at home to Bulgaria live-in-play (1-0, HT)...
Bodurov sent-off for away side on stroke of half-time and Ozbiliz gives Armenia the lead. Armenia were looking like more likely to score anyway with 2 shots on-target and 4 off-target so now against 10 men hopefully they can go on and seal this with a second in second half.Comment -
