I'm very surprised about the price on offer here, and I have hoovered up the 6/4 available because I don't think this price will last very long. Rovers are as short as 11/10 in places, and it wouldn't surprise me if they go odds on before Saturday.

Rovers are currently 3 points behind Pompey, and Mark Hughes will consider his season a failure if he doesn't get into 6th place and a potential UEFA cup place next year. They have not lost at home in the league all year and only a defeat by Chelsea spolis an unbeaten run going back to the first week in December. They were pretty sterile in the goalless draw away to Reading, but the way they despatched Wigan 3-1 the week before warrants alot closer inspection, as that day they really clicked into gear and showed what they can do with a fine brace from their player of the year Santa Cruz.

Spurs on the pther hand are in freefall at the moment and after going 1 up on Saturday against Newcastle, took their foot off the gas and could have been beaten by 10-1, not the 4-1 that the result books show. A friend of mine went to that match and he said that Spurs players have started their summer holidays already and were not really bothered about their game. Rumours are rife that Ramos has already made his mind up about who is staying and who is going next year already and that the players are just going through the motions.

I'm happy to go big in this game at these odds as the motivations for the players are vastly differing, Spurs record in the north is pretty shambolic, and the price is too good to miss.
