I like all your plays except Mainz. My only reason is that it's technically the best pick on the board. I don't like playing the very best pick of the day. Everything says Mainz is an easy pick. Mainz are 3-0 at home vs. Koln and home team is 6-0 in the series. BOL nonetheless.

Carling Cup games are hard to cap. You always never know which team is playing and which team will be more motivated for the game. Generally, the best value picks in such games are lower league teams who are home dogs against higher-league teams.
