I feel really, really bad for the Ghana players and country as a whole. That's something you never let go. Never. About the same as John Terry's miss in Moscow just a lot worse because a whole nation was behind the team and history could be made - first African team to a WC semis. Oh, well, great drama!

Both goals were great, Suarez taking one for the team, the penalty miss, the same player scoring the penalty, the Loco Abreu special.

When it went to penalties I had to take Uruguay, Forlan has nerves of steel and the team has balls! I wasn't surprised they let Abreu take the last one, he did the same penalty in the final for Botafogo in Brazil, he's rightly called Loco Abreu. He has a history for these crunch time penalties.

this will be the highlight of this world cup, i believe (like '98 beckham incident, '06 Zidane headbutt, etc) in years later.

Why? Because in this match we really see the SAVE by Hand of God (or you can substitute it with other more powerful being). I really think one of the media will come up with this. Otherwise, what can you call that? That is a legit goal if Suarez did not use his hands, that Jabulani ball even with trajectory problem was surely go in.

I regret missing the live bet in this match, especially the penalties. Probably the most obvious penalty shoot-out prediction after that 120th minute failure by Ghana.

1) DVR was cut off at the 119th, minute even with the 30 minute extension added for sporting events

2) EPIC, EPIC move by Suraez...fuking all out desparation...punch that shit outa there and the guy chokes on PK....beyond epic

I don't understand why Appiah didn't take that penalty. He's been in that spot before and he had the fresh legs. If Appiah takes that penalty Ghana make history.

You can't really fault Gyan for taking that penalty, he's been taking every Ghana penalty successfully. Appiah had a great game though, he was the extra piece that Ghana needed to score another goal.
