You're making a big mistake looking at previous records for this match, especially the US a team that is all about the future. It's a friendly and the US is fielding their strongest squad to make a statement, they should at least keep up scoring with Turkey here. I haven't looked into this game a lot but I know the US has to prove something before they enter the WC, let's find out if they finally do.Comment -

US has already cut their team down to 23...and 3 of those are goal keepers. So I would say with 20 players to pick from, and they're leaving for South Africa tomorrow my guess would be that the US will want to get a good game in before going over there. My concern is how bad they looked on defense, and that's why the Over could be a player.Comment -
I don't understand how USA can beat Turkey after the performance they put on vs Czech Republic (2-4 loss). Do you think they will pull a rabbit out the hat or something all of a sudden? Doubt it.
But just by the looks of the line its telling me US will win. Turkey must be sending their U19 squad.

If the expected squads are on the field, then Turkey ML is a very very good bet.
In fact Turkey has about 25-30 players that have capability to be first 11 player.
I can list a second 11 with all different players and they can win the game

Turkey has Hiddink as their new manager, this is his first few games with the team and already they are looking stronger. He is getting the best out of the teams key players and will see this match as his second test after beating the Czechs.
Usually I wouldn't touch Turkey in any kind of friendly but the Hiddink factor and that their are starting a strong line up against a good side has me leaning towards them. Team USA is likely to make this competitive but the manager won't be looking to risk any player so we could see the key players being subbed in the second half or near the 60 minute mark. Sercan Yildirim is one to watch in this game, he's being scouted by top teams and the youngster has alot of potential.Comment -

Just saw the line ups on ESPN2. US is playing with a strong squad. Howard, Donovan, Dempsey, Altidore all in. But the odds have risen on a US win. Something doesn't add up. Staying away from this game. Don't like the over 2.5 either with Howard in goal.Comment -
