Bit disappointed in Newcastle today, thought they'd go on to win it after they took the lead but I ended up being wrong on this one, ah well, there's always more games to look forward to in the future.

Good luck to you in League One as well, hope you can get yourselves back up to the Championship. We almost got up 2 seasons ago but we blew our chances of automatic promotion with a couple of late losses, I'll be happy with avoiding relegation again this season, considering how the season has turned out so far.

I'm trying not to think about the JPT either mate, as I'm afraid that we'll blow our chance of going to Wembley in the 2nd leg. Leeds turned around a first leg loss to Carlisle in the playoffs not too long ago so its not over yet, should be an interesting 2nd leg.

I remember how well Bridges used to be, class player.

When he turned up at carlisle he had all the bling, Range Rover, Armani wash bag etc, the Carlisle players must have thought, 'WTF??'

Surprisingly, he fitted in very well at Carlisle and a lot of people in Carlisle, both players and fans, commented on how down to earth he was. Everyone was impressed with how hard he was willing to work for the cause even though it was only League Two when he was with us. A lot of other former top flight players haven't adapted as well to League Two as Bridges did back then, he's a real gentleman and a good professional. He struck up a really good relationship with Paul Simpson, our manager, and Dennis Booth, our assistant, so I think that really helped us. Bridges was gutted when both Simmo and Booth left the club for Preston and I think that's one of the reasons why Bridges decided to leave for Hull.

Anyway, I've probably done enough looking back for now so I'll now try to return to 2010!
