EPL Picks Thread

Yo Boys.. an avid soccer fan, and going to start making picks on here .... any feedback would be great or trash talking is alright....

Lines will be most likely from the SBR sportsbook

--Liverpool @ Stoke City (+.5) +225
With the Pools trio being out I really like Stoke City at home taking the half goal. I would probably stay clear of the moneyline if you don't push for a draw. Liverpool will still play tough on the defensive end, but I don't know if they are going to score. Should be a good game on ESPN

--Sunderland @ Chelsea (-1.5) -450
If I had to take the moneyline I would take Chelsea because I don't see them losing, however I really like the Sunderland +1.5 With 4 of Chelseas top players out I don't think they will blow out this Sunderland team that has played decently well against teams near the top of the table this year.

--Burnley @ Manchester United (-2) -650
If you have the bankroll, put it on MAN U... they will not lose... A lot has been made of their form and their draw last week, blah blah. I really like them at home against a Burnly squad that doesn't have enough firepower. I expect my boy Wayne to do work.

--Birmingham City @ Portsmouth (Pick) +165
I probably stay away unless I had to, but since it doesn't matter I like Portsmouth in this spot at home, taking the Pick because I like the options of a draw or eeking out a win at home.

--Hull City @ Tottenham (-1.5) -400
Tottenham at home... big...enough said, I like them this year.. maybe even better than my team

--Wigan @ Wolves (PICK) +130
This is probably the toughest games with two teams middle of the pack.. If both teams play their best game, Wigan wins, but don't like this and would stay away.

--Man City @ Everton (PICK) +190
I like Man City, but I really would lean towards the Everton Pick spread or my first instinct was going for the +220 draw... Man City loves drawing teams this year and it is extremely difficult to score at Everton, with that said I like the Everton pick or a sleeper could be the draw!

why would you play money lines of -400,-650, and -400 dont mean to be rude but you have to bet so much just to win something significant, and if you lose youre gonna be like why did i just put so much on this game to win nothing

Yeah ... not rude ... smart ... yeah I have learned the hard way and have also cashed in on an easy big moneyline because it's a sure bet .. right! haha .. no I stay away from those I actually just did a parlay with all 3 of them to get a little better value. I really think they will all win and if one doesn't it's better than having straight lines on them ..'

Thank you very much I should actually rephrase my strongest plays to be plays that I like but not neccessarily play I will keep that in mind going forward

i would look to play man u with the asian handicap..burnley away from home sucks

2 goals is a lot ... but I like what your saying .. if Rooney is playing they should do it...

Well burnley has 1 point away this season 0 wins 1 draw 9 loses..scoring 8 and letting in 31.. for them to even score at old trafford i think will be very hard for them so 2 goals doesnt seem like to much in this case..if burnley was at home it might be a different story

just to see if anything crazy happens to the lines..also you can see starting line ups and stuff..and no i play NBA and NFL..nhl if i see anything i like
