    Parlay bets.
Wanted to place a three/four team parlay using short(ish) price favorites in soccer games (1.3 - 1.5 odds) and noticed that most books take down these games when you attempt to play a parlay ...

My question - what is the difference between a parlay and an "if bet" .... the teams I want to play are available using "if" bet .. can't I just roll-up my winnings this way ... is it frowned upon by the books?

no idea ... just spoke with 5Dimes ... they said because the games i want to play are showing Asian handicapping odds when i click "straight bet" .. they cannot be put into a parlay ... (maybe a software limitation?)

But they confirmed that I would be fine to play the games as "if bets" and roll up stake+winnings to form my own parlay .... lot more work - but it gets me where i need to be in a roundabout way.

edit to add ... BetPhoenix seems to allow the parlay - but they don't have one of the games I want to play .... grrr ... so my two main books are making it difficult for me to play a 3 team parlay ... maybe time to fund a third book with a little more than play money ...
