Fair Play not used in Soccer Golden Shoe
My opponent scored his card off by 1.5 units forcing me to only make one play required to surpass him in standings. This was not brought to my attention by the officials of this tournament until the day after when the officials decided to grade the plays themselves. I used good faith in my opponent's grading ability that my opponent graded the plays in a professional manner and I used his last posted grading as the basis to make my last play which won.

To this day my opponent has not contacted me or apologized for his blatant mistake and the officials of this tournament are insisting it was my fault.

I will not let this go down quietly so be prepared to hear from me for the duration of this tournament.

Sorry Pavvy, i'll give my opinion just once as you seem to be putting this out there for comment in the general forum .. but i'm not going to argue a point or have a drawn out discussion about it as what is done is done .... I personally did not trust anyone but myself to grade my own or my opponents plays .. (even after that I asked a few times for a second person to check the scores) I kept track of who was playing what and what their running totals were at all times ... A lot of people in a lot of the groups I noticed either did not grade plays at all or made mistakes in grading plays ... knowing this ... I'm afraid i'm with EP on this one .. it was each persons responsibility to grade not only their own plays - but to also know where they stood against their opponent so that they could make whatever plays they needed to make ...

I see where you are coming from .. but if someone did grade incorrectly .. there is little that can be done about it after the fact... you can't be angry that EP was not able to keep track of 5-600 plays each week and grade them all on a daily or hourly basis to keep people updated at all times ... when you did not track 1 person and 10-15 plays that were the most important plays in your group in the past 3 weeks ...
I'm pretty sure most other people that were in a tight race in their group knew exactly where they stood and how many points they needed.

    Sorry.

Probably not what you wanted to hear .. but my take on things.

**** this shit. You sign up to play in a contest you follow the rules and grade the plays correctly. I am very busy with NFL, college football, NBA and college basketball and stop in here occasionally to post my plays. If the ****ing retard can't grade his plays correctly he should not post them. I went out of my way to grade my plays correctly every ****ing single day. He is a ****ing adult and can take responsibility of his own plays and learn how to grade them. EP should not grade his ****ing plays. EP's job is to teach these ****ers to grade their plays correctly and if they grade them incorrectly to live with the consequences of their stupid ****ing mistakes!

How about a rematch for one week if the rules weren't clear and the winner of the next week advances and then make the rules clear on this issue for the future? I missed the cutoff for the tournament but thought I'd suggest an unbiased opinion.

EP is not personally responsible to count everyone's units. He's a human being, with a job, with a life, and I'm sure he can't spend all of his days making sure everybody's unit totals are up to date. Truthfully, I didn't even tally my totals until after the last day but I kept an eye on my opponent's totals. That's what is supposed to happen in DIY tournaments like this. I'm sorry Pavy, but I have very little sympathy. EP isn't your babysitter and neither is your opponent. The rules were clear that everyone was responsible to keep track of scores for his or herself, and that includes both ends of the draw. Sorry man.

Are you nuts? Which part of this my retarted opponent followed? Do you understand he ****ed up scoring his card? Have you even looked at how far off he was calculating his units? I'm not his ****ing babysitter. The rules are clear. If you are a ****ing retard and can't score your own card correctly you shouldn't be playing in tourneys. There is no more to add to his incompetence.
