EaglesPhan. My opponent posted a record of +10 units. This is what I went by to determine how many units I needed to win. I am not responsble for calculating his correct record while the games are on. If he posted the wrong record it is deceiving to me because how would I know how many units I need to risk or how many games to play.

I am strongly protesting these results.

I feel for you man...the exact same thing happened to me and I ended up laying off of some games because I had the most units heading into a Sunday, then the amounts were recalculated.....Total BS. There needs to be some accountability because missed Units can really affect the opponents plays.

He posted a wrong record when there were 2 games available on the board. So I picked one game and posted a play assuming he had a correct record. My record was very accurate and this is wrong to screw me up like this!

4. Each player will be responsible for grading his own plays in each round. In the case of a discrepancy in scoring, EaglesPhan36 will be responsible for grading the scores in question and coming up with the correct score to resolve any disputes.

That is how I outlined it in the Rules for the contest.

I'm sorry it happened like that for you Pavy, but this is why I tried to tell people to keep track of their opponents as well in case there was a discrepancy and in the case of tight matches where units won/lost were going to be a deciding factor. Several guys asked me to check the scoring on matches and I was sure going to check any that had a direct bearing on advancing to the KO stages. Again, sorry about it but that's really all I can say.

Obviously you don't understand the problem. If the scoring was done correctly I would have picked more games. Why post the wrong record then? This is deceiving to the integrity of the game. You are basically rewarding cheaters and punishing the people who played by the rules. I had a lead until the last day and I could have picked the same games as he did and screw him up but I played honestly. To post the wrong record with only two games left on the board is wrong. This is not right.

I can't speak for Ayn, but calling the guy as cheater seems a bit outlandish. He may have made an honest mistake, I can't speak for the guy - maybe he posted it incorrectly on purpose, I don't know. Either way, the picks were there for you to review as the round progressed and check. I don't want to get into an argument because I understand your anger & you're not going to change your opinion, but also hope you can understand mistakes are & were made in scoring by the players as we went and corrected at the end of the round by me if needed. As I said, it was up to each individual as to whether they wanted to track their opponent or assume the score posted was correct.

I believe one of your rules was for the posters to grade their plays correctly and not the other way around. If someone can't grade their plays correctly after 2 weeks they shouldn't be playing in this tourney. I honestly thought he was doing the correct scoring. I was left without a choice. I was deceived thinking I was making the right play based on accurate unit calculation. This is the equilavent of being 2 points behind in the final game of the season and knowing if you win your final game you win the Championship and the FA tells you after the game is over they tallied the points wrong and you lost. It is the ****ing player's responsibility to keep an accurate record to maintain the integrity of the game. I'm done with these crooks! You will never see me again play in any soccer tournaments. This is bullshit!
