    Hartlepool vs Brentford 9/10/09
Just thought......because i was bored that i would approach this game from another angle.
Hartlepool are 8-3-2 at home the last 4 years at home on a friday night. In the same time span, Brentford are 0-2-2 on a friday.
That included an away loss to Barrow in the FA cup and now they travel 260 miles to Hartlepool for this game.
Btw, i live near Hartlepool and it's miserable as F*ck, not the type of place you enjoy playing footy, especially if you are southern.

Hartlepool are currently 13/10 and -0.25 is an even price. I think this offer value considering Brentford are just entering a slide period where they are starting to show their bad form. I say hartlepool at worst draw this match and whilst i dare not slap a unit on it in my thread, this game will get some of my money on that asian handicap.

Hopefully we have some other input on it but i like the home win

Both of these sides are averaging 1.09 goals in League One this season, with Hartlepool averaging 1.00 goals per home game and Brentford managing just 0.80 goals per away game. Meanwhile, Brentford has failed to score in each of their last 3 away games and I can't see Brentford being at their best for a game that takes them on a long, hard trip up to the north of the country.

I feel that this game will go under the 2.5 total, although the odds are not good enough for me to place a bet on this one.

Hartlepool are not in the best form themselves though, with just 1 win in their last 5 and they are missing Brown and Hartley for this game. I haven't got a bet on the outcome of this match but I have a strong feeling that this one might end up as a draw, either 0-0 or 1-1.

The game looks to me like a certified 1st half draw.
I can't touch either side. I think that if the 1H ends in a goalless draw, the team that scores first in the 2H might hold onto the lead.
