Outside of the obvious choices of years past , Barca , Real Madrid and Man City , its a lot closer this year. I can see Porto pulling off the upset over Roma. I think PSG are in much better form then Man U right now. Man City should cruise past Schalke , but Pool vs Bayern should be a dandy.

Juventus, who seem to handle anybody but the Spanish teams, can't like their matchup.

I know right. They are a real contender when healthy. Ronaldo is just a nice sprinkle of pace and skill on a team that already has plenty. Dybala , Pjanic , Mandzukic and Matuidi.....
So much heart break against Spanish sides. Still , I really like the look of Juve if 100 %

Too early to call it, the games are 1.5 months away at least so many things can happen, the market will be open shortly and some changes could happen, but if games were next week I'd have to say Ajax has huge chances of upsetting Real Madrid. Real Madrid has always stepped up in UCL but lately all of their games are terrible, (in la liga and UCL) Ajax is a bold young team who almost made it first past Bayern Munich, so if you are thinking of taking a risk, I would definitely back Ajax at +333 to advance, it has tons of value. I would also add that I'm really looking forward to the Dortmund Tottenham matchup, this might be the most exciting game in the round of 16.

Like I mentioned before as off today I would back Ajax easily against Real Madrid at +333, if I had to choose the 8 teams to advance as off today I would go
Man u vs PSG Roma vs Porto
Ajax vs Real Madrid
Tottenham vs Dortmund Liverpool vs Bayern
Lyon vs Barcelona Atl. Madrid vs Juventus Schalke vs Manchester city

You got that right about Real. I have no idea why on god’s greeen earth that piece of shit Benzema gets starts. I don’t care if the game starts today or in 1.5 months, Ajax is going to handle that team as long as KB is part of it.

Well remember the market is about to open so maybe Real gets some good players or Ajax losses some, there is high interest in De Jong, and De Ligt so that would weaken ajax way too much.

If they can get through the transfer window without losing key players, it's worth a punt for sure. Teams like Ajax , Porto and Dortmund are great for finding and developing young talent. Sadly they also place a higher emphasis on profit then winning.
