Want to track my WC plays so going to hold myself accountable in a thread.
So far small fun parlays on:
Russia, Spain, Peru, Swiss, Mexico, Belgium to advance $5 to win $70
Uruguay, Portugal, France, Croatia, Brazil, Germany, England, Poland to advance 22$ to win $73
Just made those for some action to follow along, only two of those that I think are close are Switzerland/Serbia and Peru/Denmark/Australia (think the Ozzies are a decent dark horse).
Interesting to see how Spain go after firing their manager had them in the semis now I'm not so sure.
Anyway Russia v Saudi Arabia, $100 O2.5 @ 2.25 was hoping for a better price but the books are onto this one a little imo. Russia have been giving up goals and knocking in the odd one in friendlies which is all they have other than the Confederation Cup. The New Zealand game in the opener of the CC is part of my liking of this bet they won 2-0 but had plenty of shots, NZ are much worse than Saudi Arabia and had the odd chance.
S.A on the other hand have been giving up huge numbers in shots/ shots on goal in recent games. Also I'm a close follower of the Asian qualifying keeping an eye on Australia, so saw plenty of the Saudis games and the ones between them Aus and Japan who imo are around the Russians level had goals galore apart from the last one where Japan had already qualified and lost 1-0 in Saudi Arabia.
Think this might be a fairly entertaining match, 2-1 Russia in a nervy opening win.
