bayern plays with a b-squad but they still want to prove themselves and since manager klinsmann dont wants to disappoint the full crowd i think over 2.5 goals is the play (12-0 over for bayern home games in bundesliga, 2-1 in CL)

one reason to leave the overs alone is the fact that sporting are good away from home defensively and another reason is liedson is not playing so dont expect sporting to score. This will finish 1-0 or 2-0 bayern imho

yes but bayern always lets away team score the first goal. even hannover 96 last saturday, which are 0-1-10 on road. must have been for the last 5 or 6 home games in bundesliga where this happened.

I respect your reasoning but nothing makes Bayern a lock in this spot. The engine room of Bayern's offense, Ribery, won't feature in this one. Tony will also be out. Bayern have nothing to play for, just as Sporting have nothing to play for. Bayern are already into the next round with the result of the reverse fixture. So this is game is just a formality game which makes it more of a toss-up than anything else.

On the complete opposite here... I just took Sporting to win at +509, that's insane value right now, Bayern are more or less through thanks to a 5 goal advantage. Sporting will be motivated to win today and at least take something from the tourney this year.
