Let's tweak the Private Zone a little (Forum Ideas)

It's one of the highest viewed forums at SBR, participated in a lot, not all of the posts are garbage, many are just discussions that aren't appropriate for Players Talk. Plenty of the posts in our Private Zone resemble the content at EOG's "Arts and Entertainment" section. I think the Private Zone started out as a place to move trash if you had absolutely had to, the members just took the ball and started posting sexual or adult oriented topics there.

Let's have an adult lounge where we can post sexy pictures, crude jokes etc, and then just have the Private Zone for severe stuff or things that need to be moved..Onlooker basically had this idea a while back and I think it should be voted on by members to gauge our interest before management kicks it around. At the end of the day, this would equal more traffic also..

Yes but it has no legitimacy, our posts don't even count toward our tally there. It was started as a place to move junk and it became a smash hit from there, let's have an adult oriented forum where we can be ourselves like Onlooker suggested a while back. No need to have it hidden at the bottom of the forums page or not let our posts count, plus it equals more traffic.

The PZ was not started as a dumping ground but more as the off-topic forum as well as a place to discuss subjects deemed too racy for the other forums. There's also a reason you don't put the adult lounge with strippers and sex acts on stage in the foyer of any building. And the vast majority of the 'traffic' in the forum is spiders searching for anything that shows the du jour celebrity's skin.

I don't start many threads, but when i know its off color, i start them in the PZ .

Most other forums count posts made in dump areas, the fact is those subforums draw a good number of posters to discuss things or just sling poo on eachother. If it's an issue with contest abuse, that goes on regardless none more apparent than during the BTP, if anything maybe it'd inspire those people to keep their post padding to one area?

There are too many regulars in the PZ for posts not to be counted. At least kick it around with Bill.
