Something needs to be done about these bragging threads with unverified records
Threads like this one should have no place here. It's another example of someone posting records that cannot be proven, not posting odds or units and in this case even asking for donations after having joined the forums two weaks ago.

When you start to ask questions (which may or may not be negative) you get called a hater and have a legion of fanboys against you who don't bother with arguments.

I don't give a shit what the line is, I pick who I feel is going to win
Everyone who's serious about sports betting knows how hard it is to make a profit at all and that every little tick matters when looking for the best odds. Such an arrogant and foolish statement completely ridicules that. Nobody in the whole world has such a big edge over the bookmakers that he can afford to ignore the line.

Now the sad thing is that many posters will follow scammers like him blindly because the record is impressive at first sight and he 'posts winners'. But it's obvious from my questions and his answer that he doesn't even understand simple math (posts #135 & 136).

Now this is not first and won't be the last time that something like this has happened but I strongly feel that SBR should make a bold statement by closing these threads.

Who cares if some says they are 101-3 in their last 104 picks? I don't believe anyone. And NO ONE is getting a donation from me for a pick ever. So again, I ask, who cares about this?

Well, it becomes an issue when people follow his plays and make donations. I couldn't care less if that is done via email. But I don't think it should be sanctioned on the forum.

Who died and made you emperor of SBR? No one on this forum is ignorant enough to just start following picks because someone claims to be 40-7. And if they are that ignorant, well that's on them.

The guy wasn't asking for donations, someone asked him "would you accept donations?" and he said "yes". That is a bit different from the guy asking for donations.

People here are adults and can look up their own lines and determine for themselves if they want to listen to another poster or not. They don't need you to be their nanny. And if they do need a nanny then what the **** are they doing on a gambling forum?

How is it any of your business if some posters are sending money to another poster through email? If that is even true, I haven't seen anyone on here yet who says they are doing that. If people are sending money one of two things will happen. Either the guy is good and they will make a profit and keep sending money or the guy is not good and they won't make a profit and they will stop sending money. So, it will sort itself out.

These salespeople don't bother me as much as self appointed censors bother me.

I went to the forum to search for one of his begging posts and I couldn't find the one I was looking for.

for the late plays, we lost the SMALL PLAY on the mariners. i pointed out it was a small play, 'cos everyone backing them scared me... the BIG PLAYS both hit; Rays and Giants...

so that is 4-2 for the day, 11-2 in the past 2 days

My MLB record to date: 52-15

          Donations received to date: $0.00
Turns out he edited his post and withdrew:

It's still a sketchy post that the mods should check out and make a decision about.

I hope they decide to get whiners like you off the board.

This isn't romper room, this is a gambling forum. if the guy wants to whine because he has no donations, how in the **** does that affect you?

That's not what happened. He gave a sad face next to his donations received. That's asking for donations in not-so-many words. And no one is asking you to bash us on here. Change the station if you don't like the thread.
