#8 UNC @ #18 Duke (-2.5)

The game has made it back on my birthday. Pinson should be back and UNC is the first ranked team to come to Cameron. Duke has recently looked like they may have turned the corner and UNC will bring them back to reality, in my estimation.

I lean UNC here but undecided. Need a day to mull it over. I haven't watched much of either team but I'm pretty familiar with UNC because they're pretty much the same team as last year minus Paige and with Berry taking over that role.

UNC hasn't really played very well lately. They are winning games but haven't been that impressive. Pinson is huge for UNC this season. The games he has missed Heels haven't been the same. He isn't a big time scorer, although he can shoot, but great rebounder, passer, and high energy guy. Berry has been in a funk lately shooting the ball but this type of game is when he shows up. Duke has talent but I will take plus money on Carolina all day long against a team that hasn't shown any signs of being the team they were supposed to be. Either way fukin love this game. I live for this shit

Agree - "Crazies" should be off the charts, Duke hitting their stride, as healthy as they've been all season. Tough to win at CI 2 straight years.

Duke is back after a two week hiccup and UNC hasn't played well on the road in a while; I'm big on Duke -2.5.

I will agree that UNC has a tough road ahead but also gets 3 out of those 5 games at home where they don't lose. If UNC wins tomorrow then Ville and Virginia would have to win at Chapel Hill to have a chance. UNC already downed FSU so they own tie breaker with them. And it isn't like any of these other teams are going to run the table in this conference so I would say being at the top of the standings halfway home means quite a bit more than you want to make it. In this league UNC can finish 5-2 and at worse be in a tie for the regular season championship.

I got UofL winning in Chapel Hill, assuming they don't suspend half their starting lineup again. Though Snider will be back, and they didn't really start playing well until his ballhogging ass got hurt.

I figure UNC loses 3 of their last 7. I also could careless about conference standings, or tournaments. The NCAA is all that matters. Guess we'll see.

We will find out the next couple of weeks. It isn't like UNC hasn't seen this type of schedule to finish before. Its like this pretty much every year. They always face Virginia and Duke 2X late. This Duke game is huge, just hope Pinson plays because he is a difference maker. If he keeps getting sidelined with his foot problems then it could get very interesting down the stretch. Many people think its all Berry and Jackson but if you look at the games they have struggled in Pinson has been out. The guy opens up the offense with his slashing and passing abilities and a tremendous rebounder for a guard . Probably the best passer on the team, hands out a lot of easy baskets to others.

I live in Chapel Hill. Will be watching this one at Four Corners. Unde0087 is right; last month of regular season is always tough for UNC. They may lose tonight, but they'll be ok. They went 7-2 last season down the same stretch; beating Duke, Virginia, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Pittsburgh down the road. They beat NC State too, but they don't count because they don't matter.
