I don't buy the whole "revenge" angle here after the stars were completely outplayed by the sharks the other night. Stars are just not a very good team and just like last year they played above themselves only to crash and burn near the end. Thornton has terrorized the stars this season and they just don't have any sort of shutdown capabilities.
Stars are outmatched by a bigger, more talented team and if they get down early it will snowball from there. I expect Havlat to have a great night.Comment -

when teams are fighting for playoff spots i am hesitant to pull the trigger on totals because the end of the game can get ridiculous.
if a team is down 2 they will pull their goalie with a lot of time remaining since they NEED to score goals.
i really like the under in boston/pitt game though. Both backups in and I am expecting the game to be tight, playoff style hockey.Comment -

ill be the first to admit the pacers win was all sorts of ridiculous but a win is a win so thanks.
as for tomorrow's card i am not too sure yet. wings and the blues have been horrendous lately but this is a huge game for detroit. the blues have begun to wear down because of their style of play and although they wont be changing up their system, i can see there being some extra room on the ice for detroit. both teams coming off a few days rest and you have to figure detroit get up for this game.
habs/bolts dont have any lines out yet but neither team is playing for anything. tampa bay will most likely just try to get stamkos 2 more goals.
I might make a play on the wings/blues game but i dont think there is any reason to flip a coin on the other one.Comment -

yeah parlays are usually no good but they can be great in the right spot. if i do play a parlay i very rarely go past 2-3 teamers because it happens all the time where a "sure thing" crashes and burns.
stick to straight bets and since you are new really pick your spots and dont hesitate to ask questions about anything you are unsure of. gambling is a grind and if you have great discipline and bankroll management you can make a good profit over the course of a season.Comment -
